LAKE MANYARA TREE LODGE

LAKE MANYARA HOTEL
Built 1,400 meters above sea level on the western escarpment of the huge Rift Valley, the Hotel overlooks the glassy lake of the Manyara National Park, home to countless colonies of pink flamingos, pelicans, and thousands of other birds. Set 130 km from Arusha, the Hotel has 100 convertible rooms, swimming pool, a superb terrace and a shop selling objects of art. There is an airstrip nearby. This is a moderately priced property and one of the first to be built in Manyara area.
Lake Manyara Serena safari Lodge
Dramatically set on the edge of the Mto wa Mbu escarpment, Lake Manyara Serena offers breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley and beautiful Manyara Soda Lake. Built in the traditional African circular theme, it is free flowing and graceful, with hardly a single straight line in its design. The lodge consits of 9 tented thatched chalets, all on suite and 1 tented-thatched luxury honeymoon suite. Swimming pool, bar, spacious lounge, dining room, all over looking Lake Manyara, and the land of the Maasai People. Traditional dance presentations are held every night.

Kirurumu Tented Lodge is built upon the Gregorian Escarpment of the Great Rift Valley, overlooking a spectacular panorama across Lake Manyara, the Rift floor and miles of seemingly untouched Africa. The Lodge has 20 double and twin tented rooms, with bathrooms en suite and wooden verandah. The tent bases are made from local natural materials and roofs are thatched, inspired by the nearby traditional Mbulu (Iraqw) tribal dwellings.
